Two Weeks Old

Patrick has been a member of our family for two weeks now, and it already feels like he's been here forever! We're all adjusting to being a family of 4 and having a needy newborn around. Erik went back to work this week and I had my first night alone with the two kids. They were amazing, but it was exhausting! Caroline is enjoying her role as a big sister and is a huge help to Mommy and Daddy. She loves her brother very much! Patrick is busy doing his duties as the baby of the house - eating, sleeping and pooping - and he's been kind enough to sleep at night and be awake during the day, so we're grateful for that (fingers are crossed that it doesn't change!!). Here's a little peek at what we've been up to....

Family Update!

So I know its been WAY too long...sorry guys! A lot has happened since my last post in July. Big news is that we are expecting Baby #2 (as pretty much all of you already know!). He's due to arrive in June (only about 9 weeks left!). Got to take a sneak peek into his little world last week. I know it's a little blurry, but here he is! Isn't he adorable???

Caroline can't wait to meet "Baby Brother". He still does not have a name, but we're not sharing when we finally choose one, so you guys are going to have to wait! Caroline thinks we should name him "Ew" (as in, ew, gross...) and she thinks it's pretty funny :) So for now, we wait....and wait...and wait....Caroline asks every day if her brother is coming out today. I'll try to be better about posting - she's been saying the funniest things and a lot of them are too good not to share!
